Description
Identifying candidates with the skills and specialized knowledge necessary to provide infant and early childhood mental health consultation (IECMHC) is a tall order. It is important to build a diverse IECMCH workforce that reflects the cultural and ethnic experiences and languages of the infants, young children, and families in the community and that has the capacity to grow and learn. This presentation is designed to provide a framework for the hiring process as well as considerations for IECMHC managers and the hiring team when selecting candidates.
